In Manitoba, the Clinical Competence Assessment (CCA) is a diagnostic evaluation designed to assess whether internationally educated nurses (IENs) and other applicants possess the entry-level competencies (ELCs) required to practice safely and competently as Registered Nurses (RNs) in the province. Evaluate an applicant’s knowledge, skills, judgment, and personal characteristics.
